The FSSC 22000 Advantage for Food Contact Packaging
Snell is pleased to be one of the first warehousing companies in New Zealand to hold FSSC 22000. As a stringent and internationally recognised food safety certification, it ensures the safety of food contact products, such as flexible packaging pouches. At its inception, the standard now known as FSSC 22000 was based on key requirements for global food manufacturing giants, such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, Heinz and others. By ensuring their suppliers met a singlar standard, the organisations could have confidence in the quality of their products in market.
By holding FSSC 22000, our flexible packaging is protected by a strict food safety management system. This reduces the risk of contamination, product recalls and compliance issues which can impact your products. As a result, Snell customers can be assured that the best practices are implemented to keep their packaging safe.

FIBC/Bulk Bags
FIBC bags are designed to suit your specific dimensions and safe working load requirements. These tough polywoven bags can hold, transport and store from 250kg to 2000kgs of product.
Bulk bags are an easy way to move your fertiliser, stock feed, seed, bark mulch, builders mix, gravel or rendered products. The team at Snell can design your bulk bags to suit your specific product needs, dimensions and safe working load weight requirements.
Made from UV stabilised woven polypropylene, our bulk bags offer a range of features including: four cross corner lifting loops, LDPE liners fitted and tabbed for a more waterproof finish, duffel top, open top or fill spout, flat bottom or bottom discharge spout. It can be laminated for additional water resistance, or remain unlaminated. This packaging can also be printed with up to three colours using flexographic printing.
Paper & Polywoven Bags
All Snell polywoven bags are UV stabilised for greater strength and resistance in all weather conditions and offer unbeatable product protection throughout the supply chain and on-farm.
Custom-designed additional features can include LDPE liners, easy open tape, handles (10kg and under), heat welded seams and valves for very fine or dusty materials.
At Snell, we offer crisp photographic quality imagery through the gravure printing process. Bags can be printed from simple one or two colour options to ten colours with a range of finishes for the retail market: matte, gloss, matte/gloss highlights and paper.
